Setting[edit]
After the Usurpation, the defenses of Creation were slowly sliding into disrepair. Without the Solar Exalted to maintain their fantastic technology, it was inevitable. Even worse, a horrible plague wiped out nine tenths of Creation's population. The Shogunate collapsed. Largely defenseless and with minimal opposition to face, the Fair Folk could not pass up the chance to invade. The Crusade of Balor swept into the carnage and the borders of Creation receded. If not for the intervention of the woman who would become the Scarlet Empress the whole of the world may have been lost. Refugees from every border of Creation flooded into the Threshold and onto the Blessed Isle.
Fifty-seven years later the former River Provence is still in chaos. Newly forged kingdoms and city states vie for control of resources and the Terrestrial Exalted must choose sides. Added into the mix are the forces of the so called Scarlett Emperess and the incursions of the demonic Anathema. Heresies abound and the mortal populace proves to be unruly.
Characters[edit]
The players will take on the roles of young Lookshyan Terrestrials fighting against the forces of the Realm. They will have access to Yoroi Rapid-Response Armor (Wonders of the Lost Age p.82) and any artifact weapon they desire with a rating up to ●●●○○. More impressive equipment will become available through the course of play.
