Lieutenant Irina Abbot is a twenty year veteran of the Special Equipment Tactical Operations and Response (SETOR) unit. Large portions of her body have been rebuilt and she has had extensive mental and sensory augmentation. Lt. Abbot resists efforts by the chief of police, James Calvin, to integrate SETOR into the city's normal police force. She considers the threats faced by the unit too dangerous and too specialized to be handled by anyone but SETOR's warewolves.
