Have you yet looked at Pathfinder? Its a game system similar to DnD 3.5 put out by a different publisher. Its something like a 3.75 edition and in many opinions works wonders. If you haven't I recommend checking it out, the book I'm sure you can find on PDF (I did.) or there is the ever-helpful Online Reference Document - StarHawk

I am aware of Pathfinder, but don't have any plans to buy it at this time. Bill
