Organizations[edit]

Locations[edit]

  • Home sweet shack: Voron's cabin deep in the dead marshes. Well camouflaged and inaccessable save by water, Voron's home is safe and dry, if small and rough.
  • Harmont: Now a ruin, harmont was once a bustling river village on a small tributary of the Eren Northwest of Sharrun. When his unit was dispatched to Harmont, they found the town in rebellion (to be continued)

10 questions[edit]

  • Describe what your hero's glorious death might be.
    • Grinning wickedly as the death-blast of a just-sundered dark mirror vaporize him.
  • Describe what your hero's worst fated death at the hands of [the ENEMY] might be.
    • Sacrificed to Izrador; eaten and utterly annihilated.
  • What is the worst thing [the Shadow] could do to your hero? (this could include things done to loved ones)
    • See Above
  • Describe a victory that your hero would like to have against [the Shadow].
    • Sell every last damn Legate into slavery; the really bad kind of slavery; like rouged-up halfling slavery.
  • What action would your hero never do?
    • Depends on the circumstances, but pretty much nothing is totally off-limits.
  • What would cause your hero to break down to sadness or fear?
    • Sadness: Someone killing one of my pets. They are more my friends than anyone else I know.
  • What do you hope your hero's honorific would be?
    • "Ancient" or if I don't live that long, I'd probably settle for "Debauched".
  • What would it take for your hero to turn traitor? (these can result from bribe or blackmail)
    • Wealth, luxury, maybe some power too, but the odds of me trusting the giver would be slim to none. Nothing is EVER given; there is always a trade-off, and the cost is usually real steep.
  • PLAYER: What's your favorite monster or NPCs to fight?!!
    • Humans or near humans; bandits, pirates, unscrupulous wizards, goblins, Elves (especially snooty elves), Priests (especially easy to humiliate), Enemies that I can use outside leverage to defeat (economic, political, disease, logistics, etc).
  • PLAYER: What do you most enjoy about RPGs & D&D? (meaning battling monsters, solving puzzles, political roleplaying, etc..?)
    • I'm big on building and improving things; characters, organizations, countries, knowledge, wealth, power, secrets, all that sort of stuff. Killing and looting is also fun, especially when you use your political and other resources to help you win before you even start the fight. Puzzles are great, if they are contextually relevent and add to the fun; I'm not a big fan of D&D as a mystery novel, or where 80% of all information is intentional misinformation.

Covenant Items[edit]

  • The Serpent Standard: The banner of Voron's Old Mercenary company, Voron's Vipers. A Blood-Red banner with a silver snake rampant. After every victory, the banner was daubed with the blood of the fallen vipers, and over the years became a relic of sorts. Siezed by the Sussar Nallan after discovering Voron's actions in Harmont. Likely still held as a trophy.

Gear[edit]

Date: February 26, 2007

  • Armor/Clothes: Tough crocodile leather britches and a finely crafted crocodile leather jerkin, studded with teeth, with antler fastenings and buttons, all covered in a heavy crocodile leather coat, topped with a toadskin hat with a snake for a brim strap.
  • Weapons: Two Cedeku, in back sheathes. Numerous knives secreted everywhere.
  • Pouches: Numerous well-crafted leather pouches, bulging with all sorts of supplies, tools and Ssal, Voron's snake.

This small clack and green snake peeks inquisitively from one of Voron's many pouches; it's black tongue darting. Though remarkably well behaved and docile, Ssal can frighten those not used to reptiles, and will bite if he feels sufficiently threatened. Ssal is trained with the 'performance' job, and knows the tricks come, stay, fetch, perform and heel.

Combat Tiny Viper poison deals 1d6 Con damage with a fort save DC of 10.

Skills: Snakes have a +4 racial bonus on Hide, Listen, and Spot checks and a +8 racial bonus on Balance and Climb checks. A snake can always choose to take 10 on a Climb check, even if rushed or threatened. Snakes use either their Strength modifier or Dexterity modifier for Climb checks, whichever is higher. A snake has a +8 racial bonus on any Swim check to perform some special action or avoid a hazard. It can always choose to take 10 on a Swim check, even if distracted or endangered. It can use the run action while swimming, provided it swims in a straight line.
