Yi'ita is a town of around 5000 people some 100 tsan north of Tumiss. It is within the area controlled by the 'Red Clans' of the Tumissa hinterland and around 60% of the population are Vimuhla or Karakan worshippers; another 20% follow Thumis and 10% Sarku, with small groups following the various other deities. The town has 100 Pe Choi, many of the Long Tail clan. The main business of the town is to act as a market for the surrounding farmland, which includes some of the best Mash and Dlel fruit groves in Tsolyanu.

The town was walled and had it's own Palace of the Realm which served as a regional hub for the lands between Paya Gupa and Tumissa, but these were burnt down or demolished during the recent Mu'ugalavyani occupation. The town resisted an assault from the west, where Mu'ug forces had laned from the Turina River and from the north, where a column had cut the Sakbe road to Paya Gupa to cut off any possible help. The local inhabitants, led by Usku Vriddi and Laiya hiEtliash of the Red Sun, made a reasonable defence of their town, but an ill advised sortie against the beseigers by the Vimuhla temple guards left the gates vulnerable and the town was invaded, though only a few clanhouses were looted and burnt as the Mu'ugs Chiteng worshipping terror troops were sent to Pan Chaka.

The town lies on a major crossing of the river Turina and northern end of one of the main roads south to Pan Chaka. It is currently hosting 1500 Pachi Lei refugees in poor conditions. The Red Sun clan, the temples of Thumis, Hnalla and Hru'u the office of the Protector of Do Chaka and the Pachi Lei residents of Purdimal and Bey Su are providing what money and food supplies they can.

Yi'ita Temple of Ksarul[edit]

The Yi'ita Ksarul Temple usually caters for 100 people, mainly from the Black Stone, Weeping Stone and Black Hand clans. It has a mere 10 staff and two guards, though it has just gained 20 associate preists from among the Pachi Lei refugees and has opened an unofficial shanty town branch across the river.

It's guest facilities are thus limited, there is room for a couple of extra guests in a pilgrims' barracks and a couple more on the floor of the Temple school classroom but thats it.

The Aspects of Ksarul enshrined here are Eyun, the Knower of Skills, The Master of Planets and Te'ekuna the Wanderer Below, though for the moment The Master of Planets has been removed from his plinth and replaced by Ghulggr the Pachi Lei.

Clans in Yi'ita[edit]

As in Tumissa the Black Stones in Yi'ita are mainly Vimuhla worshippers, though they are less wealthy and rely on income from agricultural produce, some from the Black Stone's farming clanhouses to the north east.

The Long Tail clan were civil servants; they are now mainly engaged in coordinating rebuilding efforts from a makeshift set of offices in the Thumis temple.

The Black Hand clan in Yi'ita are artisans running what was a resonably successful pottery - their clan house was partly burnt down during the Mu'ugalavyani assault.
