This is a collection of ideas for stories to tell using this setting. There is plenty of room for new ideas as well as for expanding existing ideas. (Also, if you have a better name for any of these ideas, please change them. I'm horrible with names.)

Low Level Adventures[edit]
Youthful Curiosity[edit]
It's rumored that the mysterious rock formations in the nearby foothills reacts strangely to the light of a blue moon. Some youths/young adventurers/etc get together to find out the truth. When the blue moon passes, they are left in an unfamiliar land surrounded by creatures that they thought were mere legend.

- The lost adventurers
- The heroes sent to find the lost adventurers
- The people on the other side that run into the lost adventurers
- The local townsfolk, especially those in charge and those related to the adventurers
- Any intelligent beings on the other side
Plot Twists[edit]
- The story takes place on the other side of the portal where a small group of armed beings of unfamiliar race have been spotted wandering the area.
- The Society of Doors gets involved and seing no way to profit from a portal with an astronomical key being attempts to rekey the portal, which could leave the adventurers stranded on the other side.

- One of the powers in the conflict expected the arrival of the parents all along and was attempting to use the confusion and destruction to advance some other agenda

A number of people have gone missing over the past few months. Their mutilated corpses turn up some time later, but no attempts made to contact their soul or resurrect them have succeeded.

- The cultists
- Those related to the victims
- Those in charge that may or may not have ties to the cultists
Plot Twists[edit]
- One of the cultists stayed behind and claims that the Whisperers are not the ones responsible for the sacrifices but were actually trying to stop the true culprits
- The sacrifices were part of some larger plot that is beginning to pay off, releasing bizzare creatures into the world and/or driving normal people mad
