Deities get 3 tarot cards each epoch. These represent resources gathered by the deities over the previous epoch that are now available for use. Numbered cards give the listed number of the resource associated with their suit.
Suits[edit]
Each suit is associated with one of the four categories of act.

Face Cards[edit]
Each face card gives 11 of the appropriate resource, but also increases certain problems.

Major arcana[edit]
The major arcana give 4 of each resource, and also suggest a major event that will occur during this epoch.
Uses[edit]
The primary use for resources is to make acts easier. By spending 10 of the appropriate type of resource, the effective power level of an act can be reduced by 1. By spending 100, it can be reduced by 2. (It's unlikely that anyone would accumulate 1,000 of any one resource.)
The other major use for resources is resolving conflicts. The deity who puts more resources into the act succeeds.
Deities can trade resources whenever they want, though they're free to bargain for them.
