The Daybringers are just one of the five teams sent by Rivers Between Us with a simple mission: To Do Good. Every month they report back to the Plum Blossom Retreat to report on their good deeds, to repair their equipment, and to replace any casualties. Here are the original members of the Daybringers.

  • Yao Ye: Fearless, foolhardy, and only fifteen, Yao Ye is the team's spirit censer.
  • Shu Zhuang: Widower and father of five, he is no stranger to loss.
  • Toruna: The team’s commander, confessor, and cook.

Together, these five will journey throughout the wild hinterlands of Eastern Marukan, bringing the light of the chosen wherever they go. They are the Daybringers, and this is their story.

Note to the reader: Daybringers is currently scheduled for a half season run of thirteen chapters, at which point the story will be completed and no further episodes will be aired.
