Overview
The Bakulanders have their own pantheon of gods that is worshipped nowhere else outside of their clan structure. There are several common gods that are worshipped across the clans and sub-clans; but each major clan has a minor god as their patron diety that is worshipped exclusively by that clan and its sub-clans.
The religion of the Bakulander’s is defined by combat and earning an honorable warrior’s death, combined with reincarnation into a new being whose status is defined by how its predecessor lived up to (or failed to live up to) the Baku’s warrior culture.
Mythos
Major Gods
All of the Bakulanders worship three common gods: Uwar, the God who judges if a warriors actions warrant paradise (reincarnation as a warrior) or punishment (reincarnation as a civilian/non-combatant). Uwar sends the worthy to Anagh, who decides the appropriate reward for those who have earned their place as a warrior; and he sends the unworthy to Zahgur, who decides how mean and oppressed to reincarnate those who have failed to live up to the warrior standard.
