Teenage Technical Savant
Bailey is a wizard when it comes to fixing or modifying machines. However, strangers dismiss her simply for being a teen. This helps her fly under a LOT of radars, stay out of trouble, and receive diminished gratitude.

Crossed Emotional Wiring

Backstory
Bailey was born on Nar Shadda to a couple of smugglers. Technically she was born in space, but her parents did enough trading on the moon to call it home. Her mother was a medic that had lost her license because of a noble and some red tape. Her father was a smooth talker that preferred the rush from doing things less than legally. That attitude would come back to bite him and his wife in a deal that was set up by a rival gang that kept getting undercut from jobs. Their ship was sabotaged and made to look like it accidentally blew up as it went into hyperspace. Bailey, hardly nine years old, couldn't accept it. She was taken in by the local ruffians and her savant nature really came to the surface.
It wasn't until Bailey was thirteen that she managed to trade enough credits to obtain some records that pointed to the sabotage. Everyone else thought she was just seeing what she wanted to see. Maybe that was true, but Bailey was one of the smartest people she knew. By the time she was fifteen she'd made a reputation with the locals as the best mechanic they'd ever known, if a pain in the butt to deal with. But Bailey didn't want glory, or credits. She wanted to learn more about her parents. She didn't have much to go on, but staying on Nar Shadda wasn't going to get her anywhere else. She'd need to travel and learn and meet people. Grease elbows, or whatever. Maybe it was palms...
