This emblem was "branded" on each of the Survivors while in comatose state by Celera at the government's request. This brand is roughly 1/2" square at the base of the spine, often under the hairline. Government officials were not pleased with the "flamboyance" of the stylized comic book hero shield.
The Following people are individuals, from the crash of AA Flight 283, that died before or since the events of the crash.
- Jon English [age 50]: First Class passenger. DOA KILLED: Stabbed on Flight AA 283
- Ashton ?? [age 24]: Possbily the most powerful Survivor. DOA DIED: Heart Failure, two days following the Awakening of the Survivors, January 24, 2005.
