Ensign Milagros "Mili" Miyashita[edit]

Star Trek Mercury Milagros Miyashita.PNG

Player: User:Citizenkeen game: Star Trek: Mercury

Very much a work in progress.

Backstory, photo, etc – go wild. Note: the ratio of dice is all wrong for a starting character – just wanted to make sure every die size was represented for copy/paste sourcing.

Distinctions[edit]

(use as d8 or d4 with a plot point)

Collector's Guild Viceroy[edit]

Miyashita's an expert in appraisal and negotiation. She has many friends and even more enemies in every port. Can be used to justify a lot of experiences, though some in Starfleet don't like the Collectors as their greed is the antithesis of much of what Starfleet stands for.

Former Civilian Captain[edit]

Miyashita ran the Midnight Euphony for years. She can handle pretty much any system, though often her work isn't quite up to Starfleet standards.

Idealistic[edit]

Miyashita is a former Collector's Guild Viceroy, which makes her an expert in everybody's dark side. And she's Former Civilian Captain, which makes her all too familiar with Murphy's Law.

But at her heart, Miyashita is an idealist. Deep down, things work out and people are good. She knows not to show that side of herself to others too often lest she be exploited, but it's always there.

Disciplines[edit]

Discipline Focus
Command d10 Negotiation d8

Agency d6 Shut up and get the job done - it's what we're here for.
Crew d8 A ship is only as great as the worst of the crew.

Passion d10 Yield not to calamity, but face her boldly.
Peace d4 Never take no for an answer.

Talents[edit]

Command Talent[edit]

  • I've Been Here Before
When you spend a Plot Point to create an asset representing a contact or local familiarity, you may step up the asset by one (to d8).

Open Talent[edit]

  • Unflappable
When you're solving a problem under threat of imminent danger to the ship or crew, you may step down your Value die by one on a test or contest in order to step down your choice of stress dice before you roll.
