I am Bill, AKA king_kaboom. A long time resident of Reno, Nevada and obsessive game enthusiast. I've been playing role-playing games for 16 years and running games for most of that period. Additionally I have undergraduate degrees in art history and sociology, and I just finished my master's degree in counseling and education psychology. All together I'm an over-educated kid who never intends to grow up. I also moderate the Reno Roleplayers Yahoo Group.
I will be using this space to help coordinate some of my game efforts. You may also be interested in my contributions to the Exalted Wiki. I play with a number of people in the Reno/Sparks area including Mary, Steve and hopefully some others who will contribute content here in the near future.
Age of Apocalypse is based on the Marvel Comics alternate timeline of the same name and powered by Wild Talents.
Awaken to the Forsaken World is an ORE based game with influences from Mage the Awakening and Kult.
D&D Character Archive is a collection of D&D 3.5 characters I'm putting up on the net. Generally less orthodox stuff with no real regard for "optimization".
Etholen Lost is an alternate setting for Scion I'm playing around with.
Hyperstructure Aurora was my winter game project from 2006. This science fantasy game, powered by TriStat dX, drew inspiration from a number of sources and the names have been changed to protect the guilty.
Mutants & Masterminds Characters.
Retrograde d20 is an idea I've been knocking around for a player centered D&D game. It's not a high priority at the moment but could be fun some day.
The Last Best Hope is a Wild Talents game set in an alternate history of the United States Civil War. It only ran for three sessions but was fun.
