The heart secrets examine this principle, and teach the learned master how to deal with the world around him, both in changing it, and in dealing with its changing of himself."

Overview[edit]

This page is a Lore Sheet for the Eightfold Path of Persuasion, a set of eight Heart Secrets that maximise the power of social Chi fundamentals.

These techniques can only be used for social conflict, for social attacks and social defences.

Piercing Argument of Perfection[edit]

When you utilise the classical forms, who can deny your arguments?.

Cost: 3 Yang Chi.

Keywords: Attack; Modifier; Social;

Effect: Your accuracy increases by twice your Heaven Trigram for this attack.

Fury of the Impassioned Heart[edit]

Who can stand in the way of the passion of your words?

Cost: 2 Yang Chi.

Keywords: Attack; Modifier; Social;

Effect: Double the Power of your attack, after all other modifiers..

Cascade of Words[edit]

One argument follows another smoothly, and with great pace. Who would dare interrupt you?

Cost: 2 Yang Chi.

Keywords: Attack; Modifier; Aftertouch; Multi-attack; Social;

Effect: Make an additional attack after this one.

Elegant Flow of Conversation[edit]

Your words naturally gather yang chi, thanks to their elegance and dynamism.

Cost: 0 Yang Chi.

Keywords: Attack; Modifier; Social;

Effect: For each dice that hits on this attack, gain 1 Yang Chi. The maximum amount of Yang Chi you can gain in a single turn from this technique is equal to your Wind Trigram.

Every Point Addressed[edit]

You acknowledge every argument against you, and then address them one by one

Cost: 3 Yin Chi.

Keywords: Defence; Modifier; Social;

Effect: Increase your Interference for this attack by two times your Earth trigram.

Silence of Still Waters[edit]

You listen carefully, and while you appear to be doing nothing to defend yourself you are mastering the flow of debate.

Cost: None.

Effect: Gain Yin Chi equal to the Yang Chi or Demon Chi the enemy expended this on this attack.

Stoic Soul[edit]

It doesn’t matter if the enemy flings insults at you, you are unmoved.

Cost: 3 Yin Chi.

Effect: Increase your Absorption for this attack by two times your Mountain trigram.

Mirror of Mockery[edit]

Your whimsical remarks and interruptions make enemy words seem foolish and irrelevant

Cost: 5 Yin Chi.

Effect: The attack misses.
