Xia: Main Page -> Xia: Wushu Secrets -> Xia: Sword of Wild Crane

"I sweep my sword and the flock of birds scatter. Fire and water part from the echo of my strike. Dust dares not settle on my blade!"

Overview

This page is a Lore Sheet for the Sword of Wild Crane, a set of Wushu Secrets that explosively channel yang chi through your blade. It is a style well suited to those who would have a little magic with their attacks, and for those who are inclined towards offence rather than defence.

These techniques can only be used for physical conflict.

The attack techniques on this Lore Sheet can only be used for close combat physical attacks. Normally, a practitioner must have a sword to benefit from this fighting style, though any weapon that can make one handed slashing attacks and which holds a sharp edge can be used in place. If you are unarmed, you cannot use attacks from this Lore Sheet!

There are no defence techniques on this Lore Sheet!

Arc of Heaven's Slicing Edge

I cut with my blade, and the air is divided by its passing. The cut moves beyond the attack, and the edge moves further than the blade. A distant enemy falls.

Shattering Fire Hammer Technique

A downwards slice, filled with force. A wave of flame surges forth, shattering iron and wood with my Yang Chi!
