Overview

This page is a Lore Sheet for the Thousand Kisses Technique, a set of nine Heart Secrets that unlock chi secrets through sexual intercourse

These techniques can only be used for social conflict, for social attacks and social defences.

Postures

This Lore Sheet introduces a new concept - Postures.

If a power is marked as a Posture, it follows the rules below:

• At the start of your turn, you can select a posture you know. Paying the Chi cost puts you in that posture. This does not take an action.
• You don't have to keep paying for a posture, once you're in that posture, you stay in it in subsequent turns. However, each posture has a "maintain" condition. You must meet this condition at all times while in te posture - if you fail to do so the posture ends.
• You can only be in one posture at a time. If you adopt a new posture, then the previous one automatically ends.

Sexual Prerequisites

This Lore Sheet introduces a new concept - Sexual Prerequisites.

Before you acquire a kung fu secret with a Sexual Prerequisite you must first have sexual intercourse with a target individual of the noted characteristics. For the purposes of this Lore Sheet, sexual intercourse means consensual and intimate physical activity that includes at least one orgasm for each participant.

Lore Sheet Limitation

All the powers on this sheet have the same limitations.

First, you only gain the effects listed against human enemies, or non-humans whose sexual preferences include human forms.

Secondly, you must have at least one heterosexual encounter for this power to affect people of the opposite gender.

Third, you must have at least one homosexual encounter for this power to affect people of the opposite gender.

Fourth, you must have at least one sexual encounter with a genderless person for this power to affect genderless people.

However, it's worth specifically noting that the effects are not limited to seduction encounters - they can apply to social conflicts of any sort.

Seductive Mien Posture

When you utilise the classical forms, who can deny your arguments?

Cost: 3 Yang Chi.

Effect: Your accuracy increases by twice your Heaven Trigram for this attack.

Counteract: If the target has a higher Earth trigram than your Heaven trigram, the effect is automatically countered.

Fury of the Impassioned Heart

Who can stand in the way of the passion of your words?

Cost: 2 Yang Chi.

Effect: Double the Power of your attack, after all other modifiers..

Counteract: If the target has a higher Water trigram than your Fire trigram, the effect is automatically countered.

Cascade of Words

One argument follows another smoothly, and with great pace. Who would dare interrupt you?

Cost: 3 Yang Chi.

Special Activation: You can activate this technique after the attack is resolved. It does ot have to be declared at the usual time.

Effect: Make an additional attack after this one. Any chi effects or powers applying to the previous attack do not apply to this new attack. Regardless of source, the maximum number of attacks you can make in one turn is equal to your Thunder Trigram.

Elegant Flow of Conversation

Your words naturally gather yang chi, thanks to their elegance and dynamism.

Cost: 0 Yang Chi.

Effect: For each dice that hits on this attack, gain 1 Yang Chi. The maximum amount of Yang Chi you can gain in a single turn from this technique is equal to your Wind Trigram.

Every Point Addressed

You dissect every argument against you, and counteract them one by one

Cost: 3 Yin Chi.

Effect: Reduce accuracy of the attack by 2x your Earth trigram. This can reduce accuracy to zero.

Silence of Still Waters

You listen, carefully, and while you appear to be doing nothing to defend yourself you are mastering the flow of debate.

Cost: None.

Effect: Gain Yin Chi equal to the Yang Chi the enemy expended this on this attack.

Limitation: No Combo Techniques.

Stoic Soul

It doesn’t matter if the enemy flings insults at you, you are unmoved.

Cost: 3 Yin Chi.

Effect: Reduce power of the attack by 2x your Mountain trigram. This can reduce power to zero.

Mirror of Mockery

Your whimsical remarks and interruptions make enemy words seem foolish and irrelevant

Cost: 5 Yin Chi.

Effect: The attack misses.

Limitation: No Combo Techniques. No Channeling.
