Siber[edit]

Chaotic Good Human Swordsage 6/Crusader of the Silver Flame 6/Platinum Knight 2

Hot blooded would be the simplest way to describe Siber. And that isn't a pun on his flame powers, he is truly more fearless, possibly more foolish, than a Paladin.

Saying that Siber is a member of the Church of the Flame is not an unreasonable statement but it is not quite accurate. Siber is in fact a lone missionary who works for a power he calls the flame and shares many traits with the Religion founded in Thrane. Yet he does not claim to herald from any nation and his quarrels are strictly with supernatural evils.

Siber came from the Demon Wastes. What he did there few people know but he assisted Rupin in destroying a demon possessed Cannith Golem. He left the demon wastes and split off from Rupin soon after. He then met up with Sofia in Karrnath where he assisted her in destroying a Cult of the Dragon Below. Siber then went with Sofia and assisted her and Kyle in a myriad of adventures in and outside of Thrane, working for the Curch of the Silver Flame in the process.

This was until Siber wound up involved in a battle against Thrane and Breland. Where the General Valance of Thrane saw Siber's skill as a swordsage and claimed he "Had to have him [...] in his army." and thus Siber's fate became all the more complicated. Especially when he said that he would propose to Sofia when they returned to Flamekeep.

He met with Valance later that night and the general demanded he help him defeat Breland. Siber refused, the Church had been kind enough to give him shelter in Flamekeep but Siber held no loyalties to the nation. His refusal was met with stark consequences by Valance who demanded he must have Siber. Naturally Siber was creped out by this but something else awakened within him. Siber, for a reason that not even he could determine, attacked Valance with his clawed hand (which he usually kept hidden in a leather glove) and killed the general instantly.

Upon hearing Siber's apparent murder. Sofia chased after him. It was outside the camp that Sofia was confronted with Siber's darker half. He revealed his clawed hand and his blood soaked form and admitted to murdering Valance in cold blood. Siber said he would have to leave and that he wouldn't be able to go with Sofia anymore.

Distraught Sofia threw Siber his sword and said she didn't want to see him anymore. The two parted ways and Sofia returned to camp where she lied to the solders and said that Siber was a Brelish assassin. He has since kept that title in Thrane. Whether or not Sofia did this to protect Siber or to make sure he kept out of Thrane is yet to be seen.

Recently Siber came into possession of a powerful Airship called the Silver Striker powered by an elemental that only listens to his commands. He has since gained the companionship of a gnome artificer named Lyren and a female humanforged named Thirteen/Chantal.

Siber has also run into Sofia again. And while Siber is fully aware she hasn't forgiven him the two are begging to patch up their broken relationship. Siber and Sofia obviously care for each other and both would be willing to save one another should the chance arise. But Sofia is often criticizing Siber's rash actions and Siber tends to ignore or berate Sofia. Making their relationship caring but distant.

After recently becoming one of the supposes "Avatars of Siberys". Siber has recently had to work with four other supposed Avatars in order to discover which of them is the real Avatar. Thus far Siber has found his relationship with Garder and Thrine to be the most strenuous while Jay is the most lax with him as the man is rarely one to mock or belittle.

Siber recently admitted that he and the Sword of Khyber are the same person. As to why he changed and how he has yet to admit.

Role playing Tips: Siber is fearless in all regards of the word. No threat reaches him and no taunt diminishes him. The only time might he consider bowing to the force of an enemy is when that enemy is threatening something precious to him. He is overconfident in his speech as well and is not one to simply ignore other people's mistakes. When he thinks you're doing something wrong he will criticize you for it and will either help you follow a proper path or (in the circumstances of evil) he will threaten you.

Because of his chaotic orientation. Siber let's some things slide more than others and is not above stepping on a few toes to get what he wants.

But if you want some parallels. Think of a typical anime GAR hero. Like Kamina or Dante from Devil May Cry. The kind of guy to start trash talking in battle.

Garder[edit]

LG Human Monk 5, Soulborn 6

His past is a mystery. Though his appearance and accent hints at Sarlonian origin. Garder is a fierce and deadly warrior in battle and equally hotblooded and stubborn as Siber in many situations. This similarity between the two often causes Siber and Garder to clash but their uneasiness is nothing compared to his relationship with Thrine. Thrine and Garder are constantly arguing with each other over some of the most inconsequential things. Garder sees Thrine as a complete paunc who's too caught up in his self-righteous dialect to realize a simple concept such as a "gray matter".

Despite this Garder is good and has taken several sacred vows that he fulfills diligently. He does not drink alcohol or use drugs, he does not engage in sex with women or lust after the female body nor does he touch dead or rotting meat. Garder also has a soft spot for children for some reason and intentionally goes out of his way to help any child in distress. This could hint at some child hood trauma but the source of this is unknown.

Roleplaying Tips: He's overconfident and cocky like Siber but he's typically a bit more rude than him when it comes to this. He is self assured and ready to fight any time but he has an anger management problem and this sometimes causes him to lose focus in battle and not live up to his greatest potential. Garder also, as his description says, has a weak spot for children and will never openly insult or attack a child. Even if it was the lady Vol herself.

Thrine[edit]

LG Human Paladin 10, Sword of Righteousness 3

Thrine is a Paladin who wandered into the wrong campaign setting. In a world like Eberron where not all Orcs are merciless barbarians and not all dragons are evil princess thieves Thrine stands out more as an arrogant jackass than a hero of light and purity. Indeed his personality and black and white views of the world would make perfect sense if he were in Greyhawk or Forgotten Realms. Unfortunately him being born in Eberron just leaves most people who come in contact with him to be either angered or frustrated.

Thrine was found inside a burning Cathedral by a man named Azrillia and raised since childhood to be a champion of the down-trodden. That's really all there is to his past.

Thrine has a bad habit of making overly cheesy speeches about good over evil. Many of these speeches include words like "love" and "friendship". This just makes him come off as a fool unfortunately and some people even mock Thrine behind his back because of this fact. Thrine has one other crippling weakness, he will not openly attack a woman. Even if that woman is a horrible monster who will murder him and anyone near him Thrine will refuse to openly attack any woman. He calls this his code of chivalry and his honor as a gentlemen but it simply makes him look even more like a fool.

Despite these obvious problems. Thrine is a fierce warrior and a powerful adversary to face. When he deems you worthy of death by his hands you can expect a powerful and deadly enemy who will hunt you until the end of your days.

His greatest quarrels are with Garder, who he sees as an unworthy candidate for Avatar of Siberys and too unreliable as a champion of justice. He is uneasy around Siber and there are hints that he might know something about him that everyone else is unaware of. His feelings toward Jay are neutral.

Roleplaying Tips: A nice guy who makes the wrong decisions is the best way to describe Thrine. Just imagine the stereotyped prince charming and how annoying he'd be then you got Thrine.

Jaymes Locke d'Orien[edit]

http://wiki.rpg.net/images/4/41/Jack2.jpg

NG Human Wizard 6, Exalted Arcanist 5

Jay is a scholar and a bookworm of arcane lore. A reserved yet eccentric man, he enjoys fine wine, fine ladies and fine music. He spends much of his time writing down his life story in his "epic novel" or working as a part time Maega Artist. Jay's eccentric personality combined with his odd view of the world make him likable yet odd at the same time and he is often times the subject of the butt-end of jokes on behalf of Siber and the other Avatars.

Jay's origins are unknown and his past remains a mystery but what is known is that he's from Aundair and he's an obvious member of House Orien. Jay's epic novel would probably contain more clues but no one has bothered to look or really wanted to see.

Roleplaying Tips: Think Redmage. Basically what you got.
