He was actually a graduate Koom (phonetically spelled to get around the editing mechanism) Laude at Morgrave as a History Major. He ended up on the Forgotten Freedom when he was kidnapped by Volrath for use in an experiment. Volrath got sidetracked and Gerald managed to escape the holding pens.
