Chosen of Cypher. Spymaster of Ildrin. Suspected Ilduran spy. Missing since the fall of Ildrin in the Twin Cities war of 1275AF.
Ariach
Dawn caste; Chosen of Roane. General of Ildrin. Considered the finest strategist of his era. Rival to Hephaeseus of Ildur.
Aristes Savoia
King of Ildur, married to Queen Helena. Father of Terakis (deceased 1252AF), Teronis (deceased 1252AF), Palocles (deceased 1275AF), Corone (missing 1275AF) and Galea (deceased 1282AF). Deceased 1282AF, killed by an assassin immediately prior to the Regolean Invasion.
Armelle Anjou
Princess of Ildrin, youngest daughter of King Rodan and Queen Celeste. Born in 1259AF. Exalted as a Dawn Caste; Chosen of Yedan in 1275AF. Mother of Selenee (a "child of Yedan" created when Cytheria fought against a summoned creature in Ildrin, 1275AF).

Twilight Caste; Chosen of Humber. Chieftain and Lorekeeper of the Ice Bear tribe. Renowned warrior. Missing after a battle at Dawn Mirror in 1281AF, after striking down Skadi.

Celeste Anjou
Queen of Ildrin, married to King Rodan. Mother of Laurent (deceased 1263AF), Janus (deceased 1282AF) and Armelle. Captured from Ildur as tribute during the Ildrini invasion of 1243AF.
Corone Savoia
Night Caste sorcerer; Chosen of Grear. Prince of Ildur, born in 1247AF. Second son of King Aristes and Queen Helena. Schooled in Allessandra from 1260-1267AF, where he mastered the Celestial Circle of sorcery. Missing after the Battle of the Wall (1275AF).

Evadne Keshiel
Betrothed to Icarus. Former resident of Ildur, currently a refugee in Umbra. Her arranged marriage is believed to be a contributing factor to Icarus' ongoing military service, as he has sworn to marry her when his tour of duty ends.

Eclipse caste; Chosen of Cypher. Ildrini war hero, famed brawler and spy. Believed to be Almon Kaal, former Ilduran spymaster. Missing since 1275AF.

Zenith caste hero, father to Ildur and Ildrin. Deceased 772AF.
Galea Savoia
Princess of Ildur, born in 1257AF. Youngest daughter of King Aristes and Queen Helena. Schooled in Allessandra from 1265-1269AF. Married Janus of Ildrin after the Twin Cities War of 1275AF, joining the two warring nations. Deceased 1282AF, murdered by an assassin immediately prior to the Regolean invasion of the Twin Cities.
Gereid
Dawn Caste; Chosen of Tardrace. Bear handler and scout for the Ice Bear tribe. Killed in 1281AF by Cytheria.
Grifter
Night Caste; Chosen of Cypher. Leader of Skadi's Cutthroat unit, although he takes orders from Skadi. Exalted in 1282AF.

Ilduran hero. Brawler, thief.
Helena Savoia
Queen of Ildur, married to King Aristes. Mother of Terakis (deceased 1252AF), Teronis (deceased 1252AF), Palocles (deceased 1275AF), Corone (missing 1275AF) and Galea (deceased 1282AF). Deceased 1282AF, killed by an assassin immediately prior to the Regolean Invasion.
Hephaseus
Twilight caste savant; Chosen of Humber. Architect and Engineer, designer of the Ilduran sea wall. Presumed dead in 1275AF (captured by Skadi, killed by Ur), although the captured engineer appears to have been a mechanical simulacrum. Probable instigator of the Ilduran counterattack during the Regolean Invasion of 1282AF, activating a device that scoured all life from the city.

Zenith Caste; Chosen of Eicentia. Sorceress of the Ice Bear tribe. Killed in 1281AF by Icarus.

Janus Anjou
Prince of Ildrin, born in 1248AF. Eldest surviving son of King Rodan and Queen Celeste. Schooled in Allessandra from 1264-1268AF. Married Galaea of Ildur after the Twin Cities War of 1275AF, joining the two warring nations. Deceased 1282AF, murdered by an assassin immediately prior to the Regolean invasion of the Twin Cities.

Zenith Caste; Chosen of Vergolte. Former High Priestess of Vergolte's temple in Ildrin. Co-founder of Umbra with Icarus and Armelle. Daughter to General Ariach. Beloved of Icarus. Exalted in 1282AF.

Younger brother to Icarus. Resident of Meredius. Married to Melecris Dauvia, of House Dauvia.

Heir to House Dauvia, a noble house of Meredius. Renowned healer, and a respected merchant.

Zenith caste; Chosen of Klesthes. Ruler of the Regolean Empire. Believed to be "second only to the gods" in personal might, as recounted by Phoebe.
Selenee Anjou
Night Caste; Chosen of Miris. Born in 1276AF to Armelle Anjou. Exalted in 1282AF by Miris, to prevent Seyanne from exalting the girl. Raised by Icarus and Jocasta to be a noble.
Sirenor
Night caste; Chosen of Miris. Thief and saboteur, native of Ildur. Missing since the Battle of the Wall (1275AF) after a clash with Cytheria.
Stalich
Twilight caste; Chosen of Vanar. Crafted the blade Dawn Mirror from an icy lake in the far Northeast.
