- Rheinholdt Dietrich [age 28]: German air ace from the Great War; now an agent of The Thule Society and seeming aid to Dr. Dippel.
- The Creature [age 4 months]: Doctor Dippel's savage, man-shaped, floronic creation. DECEASED: Found, a dried-out husk, in a cave near Dippel's castle; sent to The Lazarus Trust's offices in Paris for examination.
- The Fox [age ??]: Shape-shifting genius whose long-lived madness is bent entirely towards one goal: chaos!
- Ruthven Vaneko [age 31]: Morbid Romanian boyar with a stern sense of justice.
- Joseph Stalin [age 46]: General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party; the Soviet Union's man of steel.
- Ilya Ivanov [age 54]: Stalin's chief scientist in his attempt to breed half-man, half-ape super-warriors. DECEASED: Lead to suicide through the machinations of Brendan Lewis Cook.
