Initial Pitch
I want to create a super-human phenomenon that occurs with a small percentage young people. Perhaps this seems similar to certain other mediums, but know that this mutation comes not from science, but from magic. People will be randomly transforming into creatures of folklore, and the world in general is left to deal with that.
I will be working with themes of persecution and alienation, and I will be drawing from European folklore and legends.
In all likelihood, I may create a few superheroes along this line as well. Perhaps a team, but I have not decided. I have the idea of a superhero magician, but that is still developing...

The Changeling Advent[edit]
Suddenly, our changeling children start developing magical powers and showing their faerie heritage.
Dr. Kadabra[edit]
Dr. Alberto Kadbras, pre-Advent Changeling, former sellout, now a philanthropist.
Bishop Crow[edit]
A 400-year-old Changeling, he has figured out that the way for humans and Changelings to live in peace is to kill all the humans, and gathered an organization to help him do that.
Razor Jenny[edit]
Transformed as part of the Changeling Advent, Jenny rejects the authority of both Dr. Kadabra and Bishop Crow to determine what 'her people' should do. Sse is intent on making a utopia, far from interfering humans.
Salvation City's Underworld[edit]
A city under a city, built as a nuclear shelter. After being flooded with Expanse energies, the people remaining above exiled their Changelings to the Underworld to die. Instead, they flourished.
The Mighty Pan[edit]
He was a rising musician when the Advent occurred, giving him horns, cloven feet, and a terribly dangerous power. A Satyr, he has a frightening power over music. First, random improbable things happen, strange things that cannot be explained. And two, when he plays, he can subconsciously manipulate the emotions of anyone listening to him.
Ironblood[edit]
Lucas Draques, or Luke to his friends, is a troll. He about seven feet tall, with blue skin, horns, and a tiny blond soul patch on his chin. Famous for growing to giant size and climbing the tallest building in Empire City on his Awakening.
Belladonna[edit]
Nancy Donnel was one of Kadabra's first personal students. When she Awakened, she defended herself against a mod by turning her small Virginia town into a forest, people and all.
Eldar[edit]
Morris is an early post-Advent Changeling. He was captured, brainwashed, and trained by STEEL to use his better-than-human physical attributes as an assassin. Deprogrammed and freed by Dr. Kadabra when they sought to use Morris against him.
The Kadbras Foundation[edit]
The world-sweeping organization that is run by Dr. Alberto Kadbras, or Dr. Kadabra; a philanthropic organization, designed to aid Changelings who have lost everything. Also a team of Changelings with extraordinary gifts, who work with Dr, Kadabra.
