USS Mercury NCC-1946[edit]
The ship is a Kelvin Timeline film-era variant of VOY's Nova class, developed from information retrieved from the Jellyfish. As such, she is a small short-range science, research, and surveying ship. Even though Mercury is intended to be a short-range vessel, lessons learned from the Franklin Incident caused Starfleet to include a full fabrication lab and hydroponics bay, in case of "surprise" long deployments.
Storyline[edit]
Scene 1 "Does Anybody Know What We Are Looking For?" (downtime)[edit]
Mercury, finished with her shakedown, departs from Starbase Yorktown in 2264 with a fresh-faced and excited crew.
Scene 2 "And I Rode a Million Miles" (action)[edit]
Having sensed survivors from a shipwreck, Mercury must decide what to do about it.
- Chalco attempts (Roll 13, d10 Effect) to contact the crashed ship (Crisis: Roll 10, d6 Effect).
- Chalco attempts (Roll 12, d10 Effect) to reinforce the transport process (Crisis: Roll 8, d4 Effect).
- Lt. Commander Drs. Vanderkemp ease Charlie into talking.
- Chalco attempts (Roll 11, d6 Effect) to scan the blackbox (Crisis: Roll 5, d4 Effect)
