Megan D'Deneith

CG Female Human (clone)

Crusader 11/Holy Liberator 3

Appearance: Same as Melissa, but she retains her left arm and sanity.

New Info[edit]

The constant threat of painful, agonizing Death by Melissa has seriously impacted her mood. Though she had rekindled her relationship with Cassius and started taking her relationship with Maya seriously, she's still depressed. Cassius' death is likely not going to help that much.

Seeing Xiang growing up and gaining friends, even developing her first crush, has tempered her depression, and she has begun training in earnest again with Maya as her "sparring girlfriend". The impending birth of Princess Haydith's child has her contemplating whether or not to believe a message she received some months back from an angelic being asking her to take the child for the good of all mortal souls.

Oh, and she may or may not be newly pregnant with Cassius' child. No big deal, right?

Old Info[edit]

Personality: Take the original Melissa and remove all the evil. The hate, the anger, the rage at the world and Genai in particular. She knows all of what Melissa was until the battle in Korth, just after the defeat of the Stag Lord.

She is actually pretty nice without all that baggage, though she's still not 100% sure of herself. She's just beginning to strike out on her own, and is determined to carve out a place for herself distinct from Melissa.

Devil's Bane has chosen her as its new master, and thanks to it she was able to free a young Sarlonian girl from the grip of the Quori. She has taken Xiang under her wing, keeping her safe from further possession by her own powers and treating her much like a little sister.

Background: Cloned by Genai as a potential replacement for Melissa should she refuse his offer, she was cast aside when the original did not decline. Whether he planned to use her at a later date is unknown, but once Alice found her and literally purged the totality of the evil in her heart, that pretty much went out the window. He may still have use for her, but who knows?

The blessing of Dol Dorn has allowed her to exchange her Hexblade levels for her current ones.

Mark of Aegis

Megan's new Aberrant Mark. While Melissa's is offensive in nature, Megan's is defensive. It allows her to generate a temporary shield that can deflect spells and spell-like abilities, as well as give her a short line of defense against physical assault. The shield is only partial, covering about 90 degrees of the area around her at any time.

The direction of it is at her choosing, and it takes a standard action to move. Hardness is approximately 15. Megan cannot maintain an individual shield for more than a few rounds (assuming it's not shattered), but seems to be able to create them almost at will, much like Melissa can use her Flash Step.
